Natasha Aziz, Ph.D.

Dr. Natasha Aziz is Head of Scientific Education and Academic Relations at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in Emeryville, CA. Natasha has 20 years experience in the biotechnology/pharma industry including research in oncogenic cell signaling, big-data analysis, translational biology and preclinical development of low molecular weight and antibody therapeutics for cancer.

Natasha is currently focused on building the science within NIBR through chairing seminar programs, building collaborations with academic investigators, providing opportunities for individual learning and facilitating team development.

Natasha received her A.B. from Stanford University in Human Biology, her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia, and she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at DNAX Research Institute on RAS-RAF-MAPK pathway signaling. Prior to joining Novartis, Natasha worked at Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, Eos Biotechnology and Chiron Corporation.
