Infectious Diseases

Our research encompasses viral infections (hepatitis C virus, respiratory syncytial virus); bacterial pathogens (Clostridium difficile, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa); and infectious tropical diseases (Malaria). We conduct fundamental research to better understand the molecular mechanisms of viral replication, bacterial drug susceptibility, and parasite development, to develop more effective treatments against infection.
